We successfully helped a customer get two new AC units and a back patio approved through insurance, totaling nearly $20,000 for the AC units alone. Initially, the insurance company resisted, but aftear multiple inspections and persistence from our team, including HVAC expert Art with 40 years of experience, they agreed to replace both units and the patio. The customer’s claim increased from $3,500 to over $51,000. This success highlights our meticulous approach to storm damage inspections, benefiting the customer with maximum claim results.
I am so pleased with the results. Our insurance initially only gave me $3500 worth of coverage but when James and his team went to work the final payment came out to over $51,000. That is so incredibly amazing and his company is the best in the business. Would definitely recommend his company to anyone who needs get their roof done the right way.

Trake added a pair of 48V solar attic fans. While the outside temperature was hovering around 97.8 degrees, the temperature in the attic was only on average 10-13 degrees warmer (roughly 109-110 degrees). I honestly didn't know if that was good or bad, so I broke out the infrared thermometer and took a temperature reading of my actual roof. Here is where I was amazed. The temperature of my roof at the same time externally was 146.7 degrees.

Our solar attic vent comes with an adjustable solar panel. You can tilt it from flat to a 45-degree angle, or even mount it separately to catch the most sunlight. It's perfect for roofs with a slope between 3/12 to 12/12.
Note: This unit isn't suitable for flat roofs or side wall mounting.
Our 48-Watt Solar Attic Fan can move up to 1881 cubic feet of air per minute, ideal for ventilating attic spaces up to 2825 square feet. If your area experiences cold winters, consider adding our optional Solar Attic Fan Thermostat for optimal use year-round. For homes with tile roofs, we offer additional turret extensions and tile roof flashing kits, available separately. Check our Amazon Storefront for these extras.
Identifying the need for a roof replacement is crucial for maintaining the integrity of your property. Common signs include significant leaking, widespread staining on interior ceilings, missing or broken shingles, and visible sagging of the roof deck. If your roof is over 20 years old, it's also wise to consider an inspection and potential replacement to prevent future damage.
The duration of a roof installation can vary based on the size of the roof, the type of materials being used, and weather conditions. On average, a new roof can be installed within 1 to 3 days. Larger or more complex projects, such as those involving metal roofing or commercial properties, may take longer to complete.
While installing a new layer of roofing over an existing one is possible and can be cost-effective, it's not always advisable. This practice can mask underlying damage and lead to heavier loads on your roof structure. A complete tear-off and inspection of the underlying deck are recommended to ensure the longevity and safety of your new roof.
Regular maintenance is key to extending the life of your roof. This includes cleaning gutters and downspouts to prevent water buildup, removing debris from the roof surface, conducting periodic inspections for potential issues like missing shingles or damaged flashing, and ensuring proper attic ventilation to prevent moisture accumulation.
Selecting the right roofing material depends on several factors, including your climate, budget, aesthetic preferences, and the architectural style of your property. Materials like asphalt shingles are popular for their cost-effectiveness and versatility, while metal roofing is valued for its durability and energy efficiency. Consulting with a roofing professional can help you make an informed decision based on your specific needs.
After a storm, it's important to inspect your roof for damage, such as missing shingles, dents, or leaks. Document any damage with photos and contact a professional roofing contractor for a thorough inspection. Prompt repairs are crucial to prevent further damage to your home. If significant, consider filing an insurance claim to cover the repair costs.
A fence can significantly enhance the appearance and value of your property. Consider the design and material that best match your home's exterior and landscape. Wood fences offer a classic look, while vinyl or metal options provide low maintenance and durability. Professional installation can ensure that your fence is not only aesthetically pleasing but also properly aligned and secure.
Metal roofing offers several advantages over traditional materials like asphalt shingles. It's highly durable, with a lifespan of up to 50 years or more, and provides excellent resistance to wind, fire, and water. Metal roofs are also energy-efficient, reflecting sunlight to reduce cooling costs. Additionally, they come in a variety of styles and colors to fit any architectural design. Despite the higher initial cost, the long-term savings in maintenance and energy bills make metal roofing a cost-effective choice for many homeowners.
